A Little About Me
Watercolor Arrow

Hi! My name is Hannah Davis. I am so glad you are here! Pictured here is my wonderful family. I have been married for 5 years to my best friend, Morgan. Together, we have 3 handsome boys. Can you say boy mom? I love it! Our boys' names are River, Kooper, and Ledger. I have the honor of staying home with my boys and seeing them grow each and every day. I have been a doula for about 2 years now, and love every minute of it. I am a Christian and believe this is my calling. Supporting women throughout the amazing journey of pregnancy, labor, delivery, and beyond is one of my greatest passions. I love being able to help women achieve a satisfying empowering birthing experience.

My Philosophy on Birth
Watercolor Arrow

I believe birth to be one of the most natural things we can be a part of. God designed a woman’s body specifically to be able to carry her children and to birth them. I believe pregnancy and birth is a beautiful journey and it should be looked at as something worth investing into to make it one of the best times of your lives. Birth should not be feared, but it should be embraced. The inner strength that a woman has is shown during this process, and it is truly amazing. Every birth is unique and special in its own ways. This is a very vulnerable time for women, and being in their space during this journey is an honor and something I do not take lightly. Every women's birth goals are different and I am all about supporting those specific desires.

The PRECIOUS REWARD at the end of it all is completely worth it.

I love working with Hannah and highly recommend her! She is an amazing doula and truly cares for our patients and their babies. She will support you, guide you, and be there for you when you think you can’t go any further. Thank you Hannah for being such a blessing to our community. -Shannon Croft, RN

Having Hannah as my doula throughout my pregnancy and labor and delivery was such a blessing to me and and my husband! She was very informative through the entire process, she supported my birth plan, she was very encouraging especially when my husband and I would begin to get overwhelmed. Hannah was great! She's very sensitive to the needs of others and she's there to make sure you have the birth you want and to make sure mom and baby are healthy! I highly recommend having Hannah as your doula! She is truly a blessing!! -Brittany Pearson

I highly recommend having a doula! Throughout my whole pregnancy Hannah was very informative and supportive. During the birth she did a great job helping me manage the pain and stay clam and relaxed. Without her help and encouragement my experience giving birth would not have gone as well as it did! -Megan Torres

If there is a rating for Hannah, I would give her a 10 out of 10.

In the beginning of our experience with Hannah, we met just to get an idea of what to expect and what her role would be during our labor and delivery process. There was an instant comfort level and she was ok with us calling her into our process a little late in the game with only 3 weeks to go until our due date. Later that day, we met with our Doctor and brought up Hannah as a potential Doula and this doctor had all positive remarks and highly recommended her services as well due to the past experiences and general relationships and reputation Hannah has with the staff at Wise Regional Hospital. If our minds were not made up already, that glowing review sealed our decision.

Our baby was 2 weeks early! We were able to contact Hannah on our way to the hospital after the bag of waters had broke. Hannah was there for us even though it was Easter Sunday! Throughout our process, she was able to comfort, provide labor pain relief, help explain medical information, and aid our decision making process. All of that was expected, but she also stayed up all through the night while we were in labor. When our birth plan wasn't quite fitting with the plans our baby made with coming 2 weeks early, Hannah was there to back up our choices to alter our 100% natural plan to include an epidural due to intense back labor pains. There was neither shaming nor harsh words, but rather support and affirmation for the choices we made to allow for rest leading up to the final push. There were some tense moments in that last hour of pain that Hannah really made the difference. While we might have been unsure of what to expect of our nurses during the night, Hannah was the driving force that ensured our needs were met and that all needs were met to finish our birthing process in the best way possible.

We absolutely recommend Hannah's services and will use her again in the future! - W&M
